Welcome to UCIT in the Republic of Ireland

Affordable loans and free support for community organisations and social enterprises

Since January 2001, the UCIT Loan Fund has assisted over 200 community organisations and social enterprises in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland through providing loans totalling in excess of £16m (equivalent to €20m).  

Our clients include:

  • Enterprise and workspace projects
  • Tourism initiatives
  • Rural development projects
  • Training initiatives
  • Childcare schemes
  • Housing associations
  • Community transport
  • Energy and environmental initiatives
  • Sports and recreation facilities
